My favorite things with Ardelle Neubert!

1. Watching the bond grow between my boys: This is absolutely the best thing I have the pleasure to witness. Despite their 4 year age gap they are incredibly tight and enjoy each other very much. As a parent, that is pretty special.

2. Movie nights with hubby: We call it our weekly date night. It’s time for us to relax and enjoy some downtime from a busy week. Plus as an extra bonus, movie night always includes popcorn, mmm yum!
3. Morning workouts: Most of my days start with a workout, usually a run or yoga. For me, this is the most refreshing way to start each day, waking my mind and body.

4. Family vacations: Whether that may be heading on a plane destined somewhere hot or enjoying summer break. Spending this uninterrupted time with my kids is priceless, especially since they are growing up so fast. Being on a beach is pretty awesome too {wink}.
5. Sigma 50mm Art lens: This lens is AWESOME, it rarely leaves my camera. If I had to choose only one lens to live with, it would be this one.

6. Watching my boys play their sports: My boys are always super busy playing various sports. Sports have given them many friendships and a ton of confidence. Watching them and supporting them in what they love is so fun.

7. Jeans: Okay so I might have a little bit of a weird obsession with jeans. I love them and will choose to wear them over anything else. To save myself embarrassment, I’m not going to tell you how many pairs I own (this image is no indication).
8. My natural skin care products: Top of that list are Norwex face cloth, Rayan Organic Moroccan Argan Oil, and Burt’s Bees Tinted Lip Balm. My skin is extremely sensitive and Calgary is extremely dry. With these two extremes it was difficult finding something that replenishes my skins moisture without causing a breakout or rash.

9. Ikelite underwater housing: Shooting underwater has become a passion and I couldn’t do it without my trusty housing. I take it on vacation, to the lakes here in Canada, outdoor pools in the summer and indoor pools in the winter, even in our shower and bathtub.
Read about my underwater photography here.

10. Natural Hot Springs in British Columbia, Canada: Soaking in the hot mineral rich water surrounded by a gorgeous scene, this place is a gem. My camera always accompanies me on these trips because really, how can I resist!

I love your photos Ardelle! I live in Calgary as well! So glad I read this article and had the opportunity to look at your work!
